Intel

Where to find it: Sidebar > Intel

The Intel section is Cooper House’s competitive research system. It stores hotel properties, restaurant and venue concepts, brand identities, and manufacturer data — the foundation for strategic brand positioning work.

This section is hidden from the Accounting role.

How It All Connects

The intel system has four entity types that link together:

  • Hotels are properties with rooms, amenities, and associations (owner, architect, designer, operator, flag brand)
  • Venues are restaurants, bars, spas, and other F&B concepts — often outlets within a hotel
  • Brands capture visual identity: color palettes, logos, typography, and brand narrative
  • Manufacturers track product and component sources for design specifications

These entities feed into Project Comparators — when you’re doing competitive research for a client, you pull hotels and venues from the intel database into a comparator set on the project.
