Brand Detail Page
Where to find it: Click any brand from the Brands list
The brand detail page is a comprehensive view of a brand’s visual identity. It’s organized into several sections:
Color Palette
Displays the brand’s colors as swatches with full values:
- Hex code
- Pantone reference
- RGB values
- CMYK values
- Usage — Primary, secondary, accent, or neutral
- Usage notes — How the color is used in practice
Colors are sorted by their usage role (primary first).
Logo Gallery
All logo variants displayed with appropriate backgrounds:
- Variants — Primary, secondary, icon, wordmark, monochrome, reversed
- Background detection — Each logo has a background setting (light, dark, transparent, any) that determines the display background:
- Dark logos show on white backgrounds
- Light/white logos show on dark backgrounds
- Transparent logos show on a gradient background
Inline editing (managers): Click the “BG:” badge on any logo to change its background setting. This auto-saves immediately.
Typography
Font information for the brand:
- Family — Font name
- Weight and style — Bold, italic, etc.
- Usage — Heading, body, accent, caption
- Source — Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, custom, system
- Specimen text — Example of the font in use
Files
Brand file library with guidelines, presentations, photography, templates, and other assets.
Key Parties (Associations)
The people and firms involved with the brand:
- Designer, strategist, client lead, stakeholder, photographer
- Each can optionally link to a Client or Contact in Cherp
Linked Properties
Hotels and venues connected to this brand, with the role of the connection (primary brand, outlet brand, sub-brand, parent brand).
Inline Editing (Managers)
- Click the pencil icon next to the website URL to add or edit it (required for AI enrichment)
- Click BG: on any logo to change its display background
- Use the Edit button for full editing of all brand fields
- Click the trash icon in the header to delete the brand (requires confirmation, deletes all child data)
Running AI Enrichment
If the brand has a website URL, click Enrich to run AI-powered extraction. The system fetches the website and extracts colors, fonts, and logos automatically. Enrichment is additive — it won’t overwrite data you’ve already entered.
