Where to find it: Sidebar > People > Leave

The Leave page lets you record PTO and time off for team members. Leave entries feed directly into the Workload Planner, so planned absences are automatically reflected in capacity calculations.

This page is only visible to managers (Admin and PM roles).

Recording Leave

To add a leave entry:

  1. Click Add Leave
  2. Select the team member taking time off
  3. Choose the start date and end date
  4. Select a leave type
  5. Save the entry

For a single day off, set the start and end date to the same day.

Leave Types

Leave types help you categorize time off. Common types include vacation, sick leave, personal days, and holidays.

How Leave Affects Capacity

Leave entries reduce a team member’s available hours in the Workload Planner. When you record leave for someone, the Workload Planner automatically subtracts those days from their weekly capacity.

For example, if someone normally has 40 capacity hours per week and takes Monday off, their available capacity for that week drops to 32 hours.

This keeps your workload planning realistic — you won’t accidentally overbook someone who’s out of the office.

Managing Leave

You can view, edit, or delete leave entries from the Leave page. The list shows all upcoming and past leave across the team, including who’s out, when, and for how long.
