What Enrichment Does

Enrichment uses AI to automatically extract property data from hotel websites. When you enrich a hotel, the system:

1. Searches for the hotel’s website
2. Fetches the page content
3. Uses AI to extract structured data: property details, brand associations, images
4. Creates or updates the hotel record with the extracted information

Running Enrichment

Single Hotel

On a hotel’s detail page, click the Enrich button to run enrichment for that specific property.

Batch Enrichment

For processing many hotels at once, use the batch enrichment page:

1. Go to Hotels > Enrich
2. The system shows hotels that are candidates for enrichment
3. Run the batch to process multiple hotels sequentially

What Gets Extracted

• Property details (rooms, amenities, description)
• Brand associations (flag brand, management company)
• Images (exterior, interior, restaurant photos)
• Website URL and social media links

Audits

Hotel records have an audit history that tracks changes over time. Access it from the hotel detail page > Audits.

Each audit records:

• What changed
• When it changed
• Who made the change

This is useful for tracking enrichment results and understanding how hotel data has evolved.

Cost

Enrichment uses external APIs (search and AI), so there’s a small cost per hotel processed. Batch enrichment is optimized to minimize API calls.
