Adding Hotels

Where to find it: Sidebar > Intel > Hotels > New Hotel button

Managers only.

Creating a Hotel

  1. Click New Hotel from the Hotels list
  2. Fill in the hotel details:
    • Name (required) — The property brand name (e.g., “The Ellison”)
    • City and State — Location
    • Record Type — Comparator, Cooper House, or Both
    • Hotel Phase — Prospect, In Design, Under Construction, or Open
    • Chain Scale — Luxury through Economy
  3. Add optional details: rooms, amenities, outlets, construction dates, description
  4. Click Save

Linking to a Project

For Cooper House hotels (hotels you’re designing the brand for), set the record type to Cooper House and link it to the Keystone project. This creates a connection between the hotel profile and the project — the project detail page will show a Hotel Profile card.

Importing Hotels

Managers can also import hotels in bulk via CSV Import:

  1. Click the Import button
  2. Upload a CSV file
  3. Map CSV columns to hotel fields
  4. Review the preview
  5. Confirm the import

Tips

  • Use Comparator for hotels you’re researching, Cooper House for your own projects
  • Set the hotel phase to track where the property is in its lifecycle
  • Add the flag brand via Associations after creating the hotel
