Managers and admins only. This tab is hidden for employees, contractors, and accounting.

The Finance tab shows the financial picture of a project — what’s been budgeted, invoiced, and what remains.

What You’ll See

• Budget breakdown — Total project budget vs. amount invoiced vs. remaining
• Deliverable-level financials — Amount, invoiced, and remaining for each deliverable
• QuickBooks data — Invoice and payment information synced from QBO
• Invoice-to-deliverable mappings — How QBO invoices match to Cherp deliverables, with confidence scores

Invoice Matching

Cherp automatically matches QBO invoice lines to deliverables using several signals:

• Direct line links between estimates and invoices (highest confidence)
• Description matching
• Amount matching

Matches above a certain confidence threshold are auto-confirmed. Lower-confidence matches can be manually confirmed or corrected.
